Jean Palmer Heck began her career as a radio and television news reporter/anchor and talk show host. She moved into the corporate world as a spokesperson for Eli Lilly and Company on controversial issues and headed up their worldwide employee communications department.
While living in Kobe, Japan, for 5 years, Jean was an international communications advisor for Planners International, Ltd., the Japanese consulting company to one of the largest construction companies in Asia. She also developed and conducted training programs for Pentax Corporation in Asia.
Since returning to the United States, Jean has been an executive coach and trainer for numerous corporations, including Eli Lilly and Company, Verizon, Praxair, GTE, and Arthur Andersen. She has trained people from more than 32 countries.
